Anna and Gary's Journey to Organic Winemaking Anna and Gary chose to leave the hustle and bustle of Oakland and relocate to the tranquil charm of Mendocino. Their path led them to take on stewardship of the former bucolic property. Their primary objective was to produce exceptional, organic wines of the highest caliber. Anna and Gary were immensely inspired by the stunning organic gardens that the previous family established in the late '80s.
Despite its beauty, the gardens were abandoned. Their passion for the land drove them to rejuvenate and nurture this neglected area, breathing new life into it. Despite the challenges, Anna and Gary are resolute in their commitment to organic farming. Although becoming certified organic can be a time-consuming process, they remain unwavering dedication to these principals.
